Oregon Data Suite Training Information

Training is customized for each district focusing on the district initiatives and features of the Oregon Data Suite the district selects to implement. Training may be in person or online.

District System Administrator - System Setup and Management: The setup process includes training district staff on how to perform the system functions necessary for initial setup and ongoing maintenance.  Topics include

  • Managing User accounts

  • District default settings

  • Customizing user pages

  • Key Performance Indicator settings

  • Progress Monitoring & Intervention Tracking

  • Code Mapping

  • Data uploads/Standardized test

  • Data Validation

  • Custom Assessment setup & tracking (optional)

Estimated Time:  10 hours


District/Building Administrators - System overview: Provides a general overview of how to use the system focused on the role of a school or district administrator. Topics include:

  • ODS Modules

  • How to navigate the system

  • Drilling down to student-level data

  • Filtering for subgroup populations

  • Exporting data

Estimated Time:  4 hours


Building/District Trainers - Training of Trainers: Provides an in-depth look at how to use the system, as well as typical issues and questions that occur. This training is focused on features teachers would most often use but could include features administrators might use. Topics include:

  • ODS Modules

  • How to navigate the system

  • Drilling down to student-level data

  • Filtering for subgroup populations

  • Exporting data

  • Classroom implementation

  • Frequently Asked Questions/Common issues
