Oregon Data Suite Overview
Welcome to Oregon Data Suite
Developed by Oregon educators for Oregon educators We provide the data you need for state initiatives. With our accessible online platform, you can access all of your data in one place to make informed decisions for instruction and student success.
What is ODS?
Oregon Data Suite (ODS) is a robust suite of data services that provide educators with an easy-to-use tool to monitor and analyze key indicators of student success. ODS is an intuitive platform that allows administrators and teachers to use visual dashboards to transform the district, building, and student-level data into usable information.
Oregon Based
Developed by Oregon educators for Oregon educators, we’ve been deeply committed to student success for over 15 years. ODS is aligned with Oregon education initiatives and is highly customizable.
Analytics Galore
Our system presents the data in the most digestible and user-friendly way. Using charts and graphics, ODS can analyze and compare information from several angles—including by student, student group, school, and district.
Meaningful & Actionable
Data is your vehicle to student success, and a comprehensive, user-friendly system is your GPS. But what if you need help making the information meaningful and actionable? Along with workshops on using Oregon Data Suite (ODS), Early Indicator & Intervention System (EIIS), Progress Monitoring & Intervention Tracking (PMIT) and interpreting data, Willamette ESD offers services in data analysis, program evaluation, and report writing to help you get the best learning outcomes for your students.
Comprehensive
Data is pulled nightly from several systems so you’re getting the fullest picture possible of every student. And, the ODS/EIIS/PMIT stores data, so you can get a historical snapshot as well as a current one.
Where Does the data come from?
We import data from your student information system nightly. OSAS scores for ELA, Math, Science, and ELPA are uploaded nightly from ODE. When possible, we try to automate data imports from our 3rd party vendors. Currently, these include AIMSWeb, easyCBM, DIBELS, i-Ready, STAR, SWIS, DESSA, MWEA MAPS, WorkKeys, and HMH Math and Reading Inventory
How is this different from my Student Information System?
Your student information system displays individual student data. The Oregon Data Suite takes the data from your SIS and aggregates it so it can be viewed at a district, building, school, or grade level with many other demographic and even course filtering options.
A New School Year
The Oregon Data Suite can help you navigate through this school year using reports, metrics, and assessment information.
Track student engagement through attendance
Daily Attendance By Type- This student list report provides student attendance percentages by absence type. This report is based on positive and negative attendance calculations. Included in the report for each student is program membership, school, race/ethnicity, gender, number of days enrolled, total days absent/present, and days absent/present by attendance type.
Monitor student progress by cohort using groups or filtering
Identify students who lack the credits necessary to graduate
Monitor students by using Formative and Custom assessments
In the current educational environment, districts need to be prepared to change instructional models quickly. The Oregon Data Suite is flexible enough to change with you.
How are your students performing? We can bring your AIMSWeb, DESSA, DIBELS, easyCBM, HMH Math and Reading Inventory, i-Ready, NWEA-MAP, Plan, STAR Reading & Math, SWIS, WorkKeys, PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP Scores, and WorkKeys into ODS. We can also accommodate custom assessments.
